Cambodia and China will sign 6 agreements to provide more convenience for Chinese investors​


[INNEWS comprehensive report] Cambodia and China will sign six agreements to deepen all-round investment cooperation and attract more Chinese investors.

Chea Vuthy, deputy secretary-general of the Cambodian Investment Council, met Zhong Jie, the economic affairs counselor of the Chinese embassy in the Kingdom of Cambodia, and said that these agreements will provide more convenience for investors and promote Cambodia’s economic development.

Counselor Zhong Jie promised that Chinese investors will work closely with the Cambodian Development Council to achieve sustainable development. She expressed appreciation for the progress of economic development in various fields in Cambodia under the leadership of the Cambodian People’s Party, and congratulated the historic victory in the July 2023 election and the leadership of the new Prime Minister Hun Manet.

In the near future, the Cambodian Development Council and Friends of China will sign six memorandums of understanding through the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce to strengthen all-round investment cooperation in investment promotion in the digital field, new industrialization, green development, and industrial development corridors. These measures to establish nurseries provide investors, especially Chinese investors, with effective and efficient investment convenience.
