Chinese tourists can enter Thailand without visa and stay for no more than 30 days

China News Service, Bangkok, September 14 (Reporter Li Yingmin) On the 14th local time, the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand issued an announcement in response to the “five-month visa exemption” policy for China and Kazakhstan made by the Thai cabinet on the 13th.

The Thai Cabinet meeting held on the 13th decided to implement a “five-month visa-free” policy for tourists from China and Kazakhstan. The visa-free policy starts on September 25, 2023 and ends on February 29, 2024.

The Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand issued an announcement on the 14th stating that during the implementation of the visa-free policy, tourists from the above two countries are allowed to enter Thailand without a visa and stay in Thailand for no more than 30 days.

This move aims to provide a more convenient travel experience for tourists from China and Kazakhstan, attract more tourists to Thailand, and promote the overall growth of the Thai economy.
