The Cambodian Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology announced on September 24 that as a low pressure system forms and extends to Cambodia, at the same time, the tropical low pressure in the South China Sea is about to enter the border between Cambodia and Laos and move from east to west along the Sruoch Mountains. This tropical depression is expected to bring moderate to heavy rain to the northeastern highlands, northern highlands and northwest lowlands from September 26 to 28. In addition, coastal areas may also experience moderate to heavy rains and strong winds and waves from September 27 to 30.

Therefore, the department calls on local governments and residents living in the above-mentioned areas to pay special attention to their own safety, and all fishermen and seafarers must also be vigilant to guard against possible accidents.
