A: This year marks the 10th anniversary of President Xi Jinping’s concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the “Belt and Road” initiative. Southeast Asian countries have always been at the forefront of implementing the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, and are important partners in China’s joint construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative. At present, the relations between China and Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia maintain a good momentum of development. China and Singapore have established an all-round high-quality forward-looking partnership. China and Malaysia have reached a consensus on jointly building a community of shared future. China and Cambodia are actively building a high-quality, high-level, and high-standard China-Cambodia community of destiny in the new era.

Through this visit, China expects to strengthen strategic communication with the three countries in Southeast Asia, implement the new positioning of China-New Zealand relations, promote the construction of China-Malaysia and China-Cambodia communities with a shared future, deepen high-quality cooperation in the joint construction of the “Belt and Road”, and promote the continuous development of bilateral relations. Step up to a new level. China is also willing to work with the three countries to jointly promote the implementation of global development initiatives, global security initiatives and global civilization initiatives, promote economic recovery, maintain peace and tranquility, deepen exchanges and mutual learning, and make greater contributions to peace, stability, development and prosperity of the region and the world.
