[INNEWS Comprehensive Report] On September 9, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet announced in a speech to factory workers in Samraong Tong, Kampong Speu Province that he would lead a delegation to China on September 14 this year for an official visit.
Hun Manet said: “On this beautiful day, we will start a new journey. I look forward to having extensive exchanges with the Chinese side on issues of common concern and having in-depth discussions on strengthening Cambodia-China cooperation during my visit.”
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Hun Manet also revealed that during his visit to China, he will personally attend the opening ceremony of the 20th China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit. These two major events are not only important cooperation platforms between China and ASEAN countries, but also important windows for China and Cambodia to strengthen economic and trade exchanges.
It is reported that this China-ASEAN Expo will be held grandly in Nanning, Guangxi from September 16th to 19th.
Hun Manet emphasized: “With this visit to China, I will not only bring more visible benefits to Cambodia and its people, but also actively promote Cambodia’s investment promotion work.”
