Sar Kheng’s youngest son sar rotha, officially became the police chief of Sihanoukville

[INNEWS Comprehensive Report] On August 31, Sar Rotha, the youngest son of former Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sar Kheng, officially became the chief of the Sihanoukville Police Department, succeeding Choun Narin, the chief of the Phnom Penh Police Department. Su Tong, director of the National Police General Administration,  Kuoch Chamroeun, governor of Sihanoukville, and relevant police leaders attended the presided over.

It is reported that Prime Minister Hun Manet issued a government order on August 23, appointing Sar Rotha, deputy director of the General Department of Immigration, as deputy director of the National Police. On August 24, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sar Sokha appointed Sulota, deputy director of the National Police Headquarters, as the chief of the Sihanoukville Police Department.

In addition, National Police Chief Su Tong was appointed as the new Sihanoukville Provincial Police Chief Sar Rotha, saying that they will continue to work together to form good internal unity, serve the unit and the people, and safeguard the people, investors, especially domestic Safety and public order of foreign tourists.

It is worth mentioning that sar rotha’s brother Sar Sokha recently served as Cambodia’s deputy prime minister and minister of the interior.
