The sunrise at the top of Angkor Wat is about to reappear

[INNEWS Comprehensive Report] On September 14, the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism announced that the sunrise at the top of Angkor Wat will appear again from September 21 to 23, between 4 am. and 6 pm every day.

It is reported that this natural wonder is the sun slowly rising directly on the tallest tower in the middle of the five towers of Angkor Wat, attracting the attention of countless tourists. Observers standing in front of the west gate of Angkor Wat can clearly witness this magical scene.

This wonder is not a coincidence, but the crystallization of the wisdom of the Khmer ancestors. They have been preparing to cooperate with this natural phenomenon in their construction thousands of years ago, creating the magnificent scene of the sunrise appearing on the spire of Angkor Wat. As one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat attracts a large number of tourists every year.

It is worth mentioning that the magnificent sunrise view from the top of Angkor Wat appears twice a year, once in March and April, and again in September.

The Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia calls on all friends who love photography not to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, prepare your cameras, and take wonderful photos of this wonder between September 21 and 23, 2023!
