During this year’s Water Festival, the Phnom Penh Police Department dispatched 5,000 police officers to maintain public order and provide safety for the people. At the same time, the Ministry of Environment also organized 1,500 cleaners to clean up garbage and promote environmental protection in Phnom Penh City to keep the city clean and popularize environmental awareness. In order to protect the health and safety of the people, the Ministry of Health has specially deployed 15 temporary emergency clinics to provide timely assistance to people who feel unwell during the Water Festival. In addition, there are 54 ambulances and 4 mobile medical vehicles on standby to provide 24-hour medical services to citizens.
