[INNEWS Comprehensive Report] Recently, the French Embassy in Cambodia announced that in order to celebrate the 40th European Heritage Day, they will be open to the public on September 16, 2023.

Anyone can visit the historic embassy this Saturday, September 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The French Embassy in Cambodia is located in a green space on the mainland of Phnom Penh, covering an area of 4.5 hectares. This green space is covered with biodiversity, with more than fifty species and about 200 trees as well as some animals.

Kong Samneang, the new president of the Cambodian Educational Service Alliance, pointed out that this is a rare opportunity for the public, especially students, to visit and learn about the culture, education and achievements of the French Embassy in Cambodia, a country with strong development. Cambodia has long-standing diplomatic relations with France, and this friendship is not limited to the national level. It is not easy for the French Embassy to allow people to visit the embassy, but they do open it to the public every year.

Kong Samneang called on the public not to miss this opportunity to further deepen their understanding of French culture and education. During this visit to the French Embassy, visitors will have multiple opportunities to learn about its rich history and culture.

It is reported that there will be groups in French, Khmer and English to provide explanations to the audience that day, and people can choose to join any group at any time for a visit.

It is worth noting that Cambodian Heritage Days is produced within the framework of European Heritage Days, an initiative started by the French and currently successfully held in more than 50 countries.
